Pluto technology At Rakon we are well known for our pioneering approach to frequency control, which led to the development of the world's first silicon-based analog temperature compensation device. Its successor technology, known as Pluto, continues to raise the bar in terms of the frequency stability achievable from a small TCXO (temperature compensated crystal oscillator).

Extending the capabilities of Pluto yet further, we recently developed the world's first TC-OCXOs (temperature compensated, oven controlled crystal oscillators), combining the strengths of our miniature TCXOs and high-stability OCXOs. For further developments, watch this space...
