	OCXOs Oven controlled crystal oscillators are high-stability timing devices that counteract the effects of ambient temperature on output frequency by maintaining a constant internal temperature. Rakon offers a full range of OCXOs, from low-phase-noise and space qualified devices to low-profile SMDs.
	TCXOs Temperature compensated crystal oscillators compensate electronically for the effects of ambient temperature on output frequency. Rakon’s extensive TCXO range includes Pluto-based devices delivering high stability at low power and small package size.
	VCXOs In a voltage controlled crystal oscillator, the output frequency can be tuned to compensate for the requirements of the target application. Rakon offers a full range of low-cost, high-stablity surface-mount VCXOs.
	Clock oscillators Also known as SPXOs (simple packaged crystal oscillators) or simply XOs, clock oscillators are low-cost timing devices for applications that do not require high stability. Rakon offers cost competitive SPXOs to cover a wide range of applications.
	Semtech approved Rakon has a range of oscillators to complement Semtech's ACS85xx single-chip SETS (station equipment timing synchronization) central clock generators, used in SONET/SDH telecommunications applications requiring Stratum 3, 3E, 4 or SONET Minimum Clock stability.
	Zarlink approved Rakon has a range of oscillators to complement Zarlink timing modules used in SONET/SDH telecommunications applications requiring Stratum 3, 3E, 4 or SONET Minimum Clock stability.
	Quartz crystals Quartz crystals provide a fixed-frequency sinusoidal output when an AC voltage is applied. Rakon quartz crystals are used to provide timing signals for electronic circuits used in everything from PCs to satellites.
	Rubidium clocks Atomic rubidium frequency standards provide extremely high-stability clock reference for commercial, industrial and military applications. Rakon offers free running and GPS synchronized rubidium standards.
	Programmable oscillators Programmable SPXOs, VCXOs and TCXOs are an efficient, cost effective answer for prototype designers with tight deadlines to meet. Programmables are factory tuned for fast delivery at any output frequency within a wide range, typically within three to five working days.
