Rb frequency standards
The
high stability of an atomic frequency standard originates from an
atomic energy transition that absorbs and emits electromagnetic waves
with a precise frequency. Our AR-40A,
AR-60A, AR-61A, AR-62A, AR-80A and AR-100B
are a family of extremely small, very high-performance atomic rubidium
frequency standards designed for commercial, industrial and military
applications, providing extremely stable frequency output at 10 MHz and
other operational frequencies. These products contain a high
performance OCXO that is locked to the rubidium atomic resonance via a
unique digital frequency lock loop.
GPS synchronized Rb standards
The AR-73A and AR-51A
time and frequency systems are based on rubidium clocks synchronized to
the Global Positioning System (GPS) signal, combining the excellent
short-term stability of a rubidium standard with GPS’s superb
long-term stability to provide extremely accurate time and frequency
output. If the GPS signal is lost, the rubidium maintains accurate
frequency and time with no interruption. AR73A is a commercial
19” rack mounted series while AR-51A is a fully militarized
series.
